Tokens of History & Treasures in Your Pockets October 17, 2009

Ever wonder about the coins in your pocket or in your dresser drawer? Join the Kittredge Foundation and WHM for ‘Treasures in Your Pockets’ on October 17 from 10 A.M. until 2 P.M. Numismatic experts will at 30 Elm Street to identify coins, medals, tokens, and paper money, and flag anything of particular value. This is not an appraisal; it is intended to help people learn what they hold. Items cannot be sold at the museum, but a list of reputable local dealers will be available. Limit: 25 items per visitor. Cost: a can of food to be donated to the Worcester County Food Bank.
