The Seaport Museum's toddler play group will provide young children with social opportunities and creative play. The group supports the development of literacy skills and abstract thought through fun maritime and history themed activities. Once a week for 90 minutes, toddlers will enjoy a short structured group introduction to activities, followed by hands-on exploration of objects modeled by educators, followed by free play time.Materials and activities rotate on a weekly basis and may include:sailing toy boats on a harbor mat, building a city with wooden blocks and discovering ecosystem interactions through toy marine animals in a play ocean.
