Toastmasters International Putnam Speaks is hosting an Open House for the public at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, June 3, 2009. Toastmasters International has helped millions of men and women gain the communication skills, leadership and confidence to effectively express themselves in any situation. The Putnam Speaks Toastmasters club is one of the more than 10,000 Toastmaster clubs worldwide. The open house will simulate a typical Toastmasters International meeting at which attendees will be encouraged to participate. The keynote speaker for the evening is Vickie Causa, CEO of CausaAssociates LLC. Vickie is a seasoned global human resources executive who has worked throughout the US, southeast Asia, and Europe. Additionally, Vickie is a past President of two Toastmaster clubs who attributes much of her career success to Toastmasters. Vickies published works include A Job Hunters Guide- The ABCs of Job Hunting and the 1,2,3s of Nailing It!; Leader/Manager: Either/Both-Six Levels for Success, and the newly released Theres No Place Like Here Finding the Gift in the Everyday. Vickie has appeared on more than a dozen radio shows from coast to coast, has been a guest panelist on News12 Westchester, is a guest columnist for the Putnam Examiner, and recently presented a key note speech at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC. Vickie was also interviewed and quoted in Kiplingers Personal Finance Magazine. Her new talk show All Things Employment, on Internet radio, provides a venue for callers to ask questions about employment issues, share experiences and gather information on finding new opportunities. .
