The Mizel Arts and Culture Center presents 'To Life! Images of Jewish People from LIFE Magazine' in the Singer Gallery. The photojournalism exhibit, consisting of about sixty photographs, includes work by Paul Schutzer, Margaret Bourke-White, Alfred Eisenstaedt and many more. The exhibit highlights the importance of photojournalism as a means to tell great news stories in history, rather than simply illustrate them. The collection runs the gamut from singular portraiture of Jewish celebrities like Fanny Brice to abundant images of dancing Chassidim and photos of the liberation of concentration camps after World War II.
