Dancing, crafts and food will open the door to other cultures Saturday during the annual Multicultural Festival at Truckee Meadows Community College.
Admission is free.
The annual celebration includes live music and entertainment, crafts, artwork and food for sale.
The festival, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., is in the Student Services Center on TMCC's main Reno campus at 7000 Dandini Blvd.
Entertainment scheduled includes the "Little Swan" Chinese dancers, line dancing by the Pony Express, Las Estrellitas Mexican dancers, Ballet Folklorico and an Aikido demonstration.
The dance styles and music include a performance of the Shawl Dance, the American Indian flute and of traditional Japanese theater.
