Titchfield Haven
Fareham, England

Titchfield is a great place for birds. Six hides offer views over the muddy pools and there are usually lots of birds to be seen. This is a good time of year for scarce waders such as Curlew Sandpiper and Little Stint. Also being so close to the sea there is always the chance of seeing a passing Osprey or sea birds such as Skuas. There is a cafe and toilets on site. Tickets are £7.50 per person. See www.projectfred.co.uk for more details. To book e-mail project.fred@virgin.net or phone 01425 673321.
