Tiptons *Takin' The Tea Lounge* Brooklyn March 6, 2007

Heading off on a whirlwind (do people still use that word?) European Tour, West-coast based sax quartet (+ drums) supergroup, The Tiptons, will provide the Tuesday vibes at Brooklyn's Tea Lounge. The Tiptons are an all-female jazz ensembled named after a female jazz pianist, Billy Tipton, who presented herself as a male for most of her life and career -- and got away with it bigtime, especially with Kitty Kelly! No cover charge, but donations are very welcome and appreciated.
