After his arrival in Boston in 1996, Timo became a regular on the New England blues scene. In addition to fronting his own band from time to time, Timo worked in collaboration, quickly gaining notoriety as an impressive guitarist and vocalist, sharing stages and recording studios with a number of local, regional, and national acts, as well as performing in genres outside of the blues community. Timo Arthur has shared the stage with the likes of Ronnie Earl, Kid Bangham, Hubert Sumlin and many others. He continues to impress audiences with his enduring songwriting skills, subtle confidence, and his witty and warm stage persona - thus leaving a lasting impression wherever he plays. His impassioned ambition and obvious talent give Timo an undying love of his craft. Timo’s debut gig at Smoken Joe’s will be a guitar clinic in the modes of the three Kings: Albert, Freddie & B.B.
