Toronto Dance Theatre is pleased to present the highly anticipated Toronto premiere of Artistic Director Christopher House’s new dance masterpiece, Timecode Break. A dance for the twenty-first century, House has choreographed Timecode Break simultaneously for stage and screen. Razor- sharp dancing is integrated with gorgeous video images, with 12 dancers performing in lightning fast unison and in powerful solos. Slashing jumps, sudden falls and brilliant footwork co-exist with movements of exquisite stillness. Cited as being “among the greatest dances ever created in Canada” by the Globe and Mail, Timecode Break runs from October 31 to November 4, as part of Harbourfront Centre’s Next Steps at the Premiere Dance Theatre.
