Time Warp 1960 November 19, 2011

On Saturday, November 19th, the Pride of Indy Bands will present their annual fundraiser "Time Warp". All proceeds from this annual event benefit all of the Pride of Indy Bands groups including the Pride of Indy Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble, Marching Band, Pep Band, Visual Ensemble, and various other small groups. The event will feature 3 hours of big-band style jazz music from the Pride of Indy Jazz Ensemble. Also performing will be very special guest vocalist Brenda Williams.
The event will be held at the Athenaeum Theatre in downtown Indianapolis which will be transformed into a classic jazz club atmosphere. The doors will open at 7pm and the music begins at 8pm. The night will also feature swing dancing, a full bar, and a silent auction with items to bid on from dozens of local businesses. The Athenaeum is a smoke-free facility and the event is all-ages and family friendly. Tickets are $15 and are available on the event website ( www.prideofindy.org/timewarp ), from any Pride of Indy member, or at the door.
The Pride of Indy Bands is a 501(c)(3) non-profit with no paid staff or performers. All of the musicians performing for Time Warp will be doing so as volunteers.
