Directed by Kim Hardwick, the critically acclaimed, Time Stand Stills follows the homecoming of photojournalist Sarah Goodwin, played by Rebecca Rocheford Davies, after being injured in a car bombing. The adrenalin of documenting the realities of war is addictive as Sarah and, her journalist partner James, Richard Sydenham know all too well. Together they have shared a passion for reporting on the world’s war zones. When their friend and photo editor Richard, Noel Hodda, pays a visit with his much younger girlfriend Mandy, Harriet Dyer, the reality of domesticity and conventional life come into focus.
Margulies’ quietly powerful play examines just how much is required of two people building a life together away from the distractions of war.
From Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Donald Margulies comes the Australian premiere of the Tony Award nominated play, Time Stands Still at Darlinghurst Theatre from Friday, 30 March to Thursday, 22 April
