Last time we did this party, it didn?t stop until the sun rose. It was fucking amazing. This one promises to stand up. Cosmic Rocker and Zeb from Codek Records are playing a live dub-house PA (I saw one of their sets a couple weeks ago at Nublu, and it blew the place up.); Freddie Mas, whose records on Codek and Tigersushi are a mix between !!! and Captain Beefheart, are kicking off the night with a set; and Ghost Blazer, the Brooklyn glitch-hop duo, drop live tracks from their new record ?Blood on the Dance Floor, Blood on the Rocawear.? In between live acts, the genre-shifting Kenosha and Cocoa Cracker Brown spin records, and after all the performers undo the stage, Tim Sweeney (co-mixer of the jaw-dropping DFA Compilation #2 mix, which has inspired many a headphone-dance-party on the subway) steps up to the turntables to deliver us into the next day.
