In 2005, Australian Tim Minchin became the most talked-about comedy act of the Edinburgh fringe, garnering sell-out shows, 5-star reviews and the Perrier Best Newcomer Award for his debut show, ‘Dark Side’.
In 2006, Tim returned to Edinburgh with his brand new, dark and brilliant show, ‘So Rock’. Evolution, childhood obesity, spiders and Sigmund Freud, all charmingly channeled through the fast fingers and acid tongue of one of the must-see acts of the year.
He is the winner of the ‘2005 Edinburgh Festival Perrier Newcomer Award’, the ‘Directors Award’ at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, and now he's stuck the best bits of his critically acclaimed shows together and is taking it on the road.
