TiE Seattle proudly presents…
Funding Forum 2008
In keeping with our mission to foster and support entrepreneurship, we are proud to introduce one of our premier networking events of the year.
Attend this event to see acclaimed ventures in the Northwest pitch their business plans to a select group of panelists. Attendees will gain insight on how to make a great pitch, and learn what investors are looking for in a business plan. This is an excellent opportunity to network with others in the Northwest entrepreneurial community.
This forum is a great way for budding and established entrepreneurs to gain publicity for their ventures, connect with potential investors, TiE Charter Members (a group of influential entrepreneurs, corporate executives and senior professionals), and gain valuable experience and feedback in pitching their ideas.
The Funding Forum will be held on December 4th, 2008. Stay tuned for more details regarding the venue, prizes and panelists!
The deadline for submitting business plans is November 21st, 2008. Please submit business plans to Sachin Joshi (sachin.joshi@seattle.tie.org).
What previous participants are saying:
"The TiE Funding Forum was extremely helpful for me, as it helped prepare us for large-room presentations and live-demos to investors, while the Q&A format gave us practice for the unscripted meetings that are an obvious part of the funding process. Everyone at TiE was incredibly supportive. I think this is a must-attend event for early-stage entrepreneurs who are readying themselves for the fundraising process."
