Tidings of Joy Christmas Concert December 15, 2010

December 15, 2010, 8pm to 10pm

Come feel the flame of renewal with cheerful new carols on old texts in Derek Holman's Sir Christemas, and hear Men and WomenSing perform the majestic traditional English carols of Vaughan Williams' Fantasia with solo baritone and cello accompaniment. Also performed by the men with WomenSing will be Eric Whitacre's lush Lux Aurumque. With Benjamin Britten's A New Year Carol we will toast in the new decade. Works by Rossini, Barnett, Sarmanto, Matsushita, and festive holiday fare will complement.
