Mixing records since 1982, DJ Assault (born Craig De Shan Adams) has been indoctrinating people with his own take on Detroit dance music, which is very much an amalgam of his radio predecessors. The introduction of scratching and rapping to non-Hip Hop genres of music, this style is something that could only have come from Detroit. Having rocked parties around the world, his style ranges from house to techno to jungle to R&B and beyond. When he steps up to the decks and unleashes that high-speed booty-shake, the audience has only one option -- tear the club up.

DJ Assault a.k.a. Craig Diamonds "The Street Narrator" is hard at work with his new label, Jefferson Ave, and a place to finally call home. Craig Diamonds is also the man behind a whole new set of beats -- producing records since 1995, Assault has been making some of the most talked about booty-bass tracks in existence. Songs like "Ass 'n Titties" which was used in a April 2004 episode of the Dave Chappelle Show on Comedy Central, "Shake It, Work It" aired in a HP ipod commercial during the August 2004 VMA's (Video Music Awards)on MTV and has continued to play on national television every since. "Yo Relatives" has also turned into a genre classic as well, "Like I said when I play a gig, I'll play anything -- from bass to techno to jungle to hip-hop to house, "But as a producer, I call the music I make Accelerated Funk, like what you'll hear when you listen to a new DJ Assault mixed album, on Jefferson Ave."

In addition to having a legendary guest headline the event, this will also be the first anniversary of Thunderdome's success. Starting in the underground of the Elk's Lodge in Central Square, the party eventually moved outdoors on the Charles, where the night sold out during some of the summer's best weather and Scottie B. of Baltimore club fame left us all speechless. Settling in to our new home in Central - the Greek American Political Club - Thunderdome rages on to give the city a reason to party, and build up the scene in Boston that has been needing a pick-me-up for some time. The cover price has been kept low on principle, and the DJs do it because they love to see people have a good time. All love, no bullshit. Thunderdome has retained its mission to be one of the most epic parties in Boston, and its accessible to all. Always.
