Thrill The World Racine 2009 Halloween Party October 24, 2009

On Saturday October 24th 2009, we will be hosting for the first time in Racine a Halloween Party as part of the worldwide event called THRILL THE WORLD!

Thrill The World is a worldwide attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Simultaneous Dance of Michael Jackson's "Thriller".

The goal is to gather 300 people in Racine and do the Thriller Dance Choreography starting exactly at 7:30 pm on Saturday October 24th! Meanwhile, across the world, thousands of people will be dancing the Thriller Dance with us at the same time. It is a tribute to Michael Jackson!

This is a Halloween party! We will encourage everyone to dress up as a Zombie or in a Halloween costume (there will be prizes for best zombie and best costume). You can buy tickets at

So, here is the plan:

LEARN THE DANCE! (5 - 7 pm)
On the day of the event, there will be a Thriller Dance Workshop from 5 to 7 pm to learn the Thriller Dance Choreography! Everyone can participate! There's no experience necessary. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A DANCER! We are going to break down the choreography so well, it is going to be so easy to learn it.

PARTICIPATE IN THRILL THE WORLD (7:30 pm CT):
Around 7:30 pm, after a worldwide conference call from Ines Markeljevic (Thrill the World Creator & Director) with the official countdown, we will start the official Thriller Dance Choreography to participate in the attempt to break the Guinness Record. AND LOTS OF DANCING IN THE HALLOWEEN PARTY (7-9 pm)!
Besides participating in THRILL THE WORLD, there will be lots of dancing with one of the best DJs of the area!
