We will take an in-depth look at three established writers who have made a lasting mark on American-Jewish letters: Malamud's surprising nuance, the brilliant intellect of Ozick, and the trickster, Singer. Their work is easily available in most anthologies in bookstores or at the library. Bring Ozick's Yiddish-Envy in America to the first class.
