Three Cups of Tea with Greg Mortenson is a Houston luncheon formed to raise awareness and funds for Central Asia Institute. This organization, founded by Greg Mortenson, is dedicated to building schools in remote, northern Afghanistan and Pakistan - countries where poverty is fertile soil for terrorist roots to take hold. In his book Three Cups of Tea, Greg challenges the way readers think about improving the world and encourages peace through education. The award winning author and Nobel Peace Prize nominee will share his story and mission. Ambassador Ryan Crocker also will introduce and engage in a short dialogue session with Mortenson.
