Jane's life is not exactly on track. She's a widowed poet with a young daughter, and she currently has no man in her life. Her equally bright and talented long-time best friends are determined to remedy the situation, but their efforts only succeed in complicating things--for all of them.

It's a place many of us have been--approaching "middle-age" with its questions and confusion and frustration--and Gibson brings it to life with great heart and humor.
