Third Thursday @ Your Library - Rita Mae Brown October 19, 2006

Rita Mae Brown, the Charlottesville, Va.-based author of mysteries and historical and contemporary fiction, is coming to the Williamsburg Library. Her presentation is free of charge. Tickets are being distributed at the Williamsburg Library Program Services desk. Those without tickets will be seated as space is available. Rita Mae Brown's visit is part of the Third Thursday @ Your Library series.

Perhaps best known for the cozy animal mystery series she co-authors with her cat Sneaky Pie, Rita Mae also writes a successful series featuring "Sister" Jane Arnold, the foxhunting sleuth. The newest Sister Mystery, "The Hounds and the Fury," is described by Kirkus Reviews, "as fast-paced as the foxhunts Brown clearly loves." The Hounds and the Fury will be available for purchase and signing after her reading.
