Third Floor: Royal Armouries, USA September 12, 2008

The Museum's third floor houses the 'Royal Armouries Collection.' Here you can trace the history of Britain's Royal Armouries (including the famous Tower of London) and European arms dating back to the 11th century in a series of periodically changing displays.Here, you can learn about historic periods: Medieval England, The Tudors and the Stuarts, The British Empire-18th century and The British Empire-19th century. Here too, are dramatic life-sized tableaux that depict a specific time in history, as well as a tournament ring where you will see live swordplay demonstrations.
