Third Annual “taking Steps Towards College Success” Walk-a-thon Hosted By The Be A Leader Foundation October 2, 2011

What: Phoenix-based Be A Leader Foundation will host its third annual “Taking Steps Towards College Success” walk-a-thon. The event highlights the importance of promoting and supporting higher education among Arizona’s youth. The day will begin with a local college resource fair and will culminate with a national college fair showcasing 200+ universities. Tours of the College Depot at Burton Barr Library will also be available.

When: Sunday, October 2, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. College-going Resource Fair (Margaret T. Hance Park)
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Walk-a-thon
12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. NACAC College Fair (Phoenix Convention Center)
