Life is filled with moments when you have to think on your feet – in the classroom, in the conference room, in meetings with clients or co-workers and in countless other important situations. Unless you were born with a script in your hand, you must be ready to improvise. In this innovative communication class, comedienne Kim McGaw will show you how to apply the improvisational techniques she learned at Chicago’s Second City conservatory.
Participants will act out a variety of situations and learn to take control and avoid being intimidated by a person or an audience. Business people, attorneys, salespeople, doctors and academics – anyone who must adapt to changing circumstances in a work situation – can benefit from applying these techniques. Participants, from the shy to the extroverted, will find many takeaways in this uniquely programmed and highly interactive class.
