Filmmaker, performance artist and writer Miranda July returns to The Kitchen to present her new multi-media performance piece 'Things We Don't Understand and Definitely Are Not Going to Talk About,' a tale of heartbreak and obsession that is so familiar you could tell it yourself. In fact, members of audience play lead and supporting roles in the performance. This work is also a look inside July's filmmaking process; her next feature film revolves around the same themes and characters. July first received critical acclaim in New York for her performances at The Kitchen, 'Swan Tool' (2001) and 'Love Diamond' (2000). Most recently, she is best known as the writer and director of her feature length film 'Me and You and Everyone We Know' (2005).
