“They Wrote The Songs” | Twin Cities Musicians Play Classic Hits in Modern Music Show to Benefit Spare Key Mortgage Assistance Program June 2, 2009

This up-beat show features music and narration celebrating the lives and careers of four great American songwriters - Thom Bell, Carol Bayer Sager, Lamont Dozier and Bob Gaudio. All of the music has been updated, arranged and interpreted by leading Twin Cities performers who are sure to bring the audience to its feet! Award-Winning Twin Cities Musicians include Maurice Jacox, Bob Pontious, Katie Gearty, and Arlys Marie, among others

Proceeds from "They Wrote The Songs" go to Spare Key - a Minnesota non-profit organization closing out their 30-day campaign to raise the funds needed to provide the millionth dollar of mortgage support to a Minnesota family with a sick child. Spare Key provides assistance to homeowners with critically ill or seriously injured children by making a mortgage payment on the family's behalf, allowing them to spend time with their child. They have helped nearly 1,000 Minnesota families since 1997.
