Noted landscape architect and popular Hudson Valley landscape historian Stephen Yarabek will speak during Manitoga’s Third Annual Woodland Landscape Council Public Lecture. An engaging speaker, Yarabek will trace the development of the Woodland Garden aesthetic in the Hudson River Valley and show how 20th century American Industrial designer Russel Wright transformed the native landscape of his Manitoga estate into a modernist icon and designated National Historic Landmark. Yarabek will also discuss Wright’s connections to the themes of Hudson Valley landscape history.
