The Who's Tommy August 23, 2009

While staring into a mirror, young Tommy Walker watches his father, just home from the war, kill his mother's young lover. Immediately stricken deaf, dumb and blind, he is deemed incurable by the medical community and is subsequently abused and neglected. Tommy finds solace and triumph in his one true ability -- playing pinball. When at last his mother cures him, Tommy becomes a cult icon, famous for his pinball skills and his "miraculous" recovery. But is the price of fame too high?
