The White Collar Comedy Tour at Riot Act Comedy Club May 16, 2007

As the Blue Collar Comedy Tour sold out arenas across the country, white-collar comics took a back seat on the comedy bus. Out from the cloud of fart jokes, nationalism and homophobia comes comics who seek to remedy the second-class status of white-collar comedy. Four comics with eight degrees in hand are embarking on a tour of DC area venues. Mike Shader (Ph.D. Sociology), Lori Trawinski (Ph.D. Economics), Mark Matusof (B.S. Engineering Operations) and Marshall Henry (B.A. Business Administration) are happy to launch their tour Wednesday May16th at the hippest club in DC, the Riot Act Comedy Club.

Riot Act Comedy Club is DCs best place to see comedy up close in a cool and intimate atmosphere. Located right below the great HR-57 Jazz Club, Riot Act offers the greatest comedy shows nightly. Tuesdays are Open Mics, Wednesdays are alternative comedy nights and Thursdays thru Saturdays we have national and local headliners from HBO, Comedy Central and Showtime.
