The Washington Chorus Presents "New Music for a New Age" April 3, 2011

Now in its third year, this season's New Music for a New Age program features the music of award-winning American composer Elena Ruehr. With full orchestra and chorus, this concert includes two Washington Premieres: Cricket, Spider, Bee (text by Emily Dickinson) and Gospel Cha-Cha (text by Langston Hughes) and one World Premiere: Averno (text by Louise Gluck).
