For more than a decade, School of Rock has been inspiring kids to rock on stage and in life. Founded as a single school in Philadelphia, PA in 1998, School of Rock has grown into an international force. Known for their commitment to inspiring people on and off stage, School of Rock puts on mind-blowing shows performed by actual local kids.
School of Rock teaches guitar, bass, vocals, keyboards, drums, and combines weekly private lessons and group band rehearsals to prepare kids to rock in front of live audiences at the area’s hottest venues. To date students have played thousands of concerts to hundreds of thousands of people, at such legendary venues as CBGB’s, The Trocadero, The Knitting Factory, The Whiskey, The Roxy, The Experience Music Project, The Big Easy, BB King’s Blues Club, and The House of Blues. They’ve also perform in music fesitvals from Lollapalooza to Austin City Limits and tours such as Vans Warped Tour.
