The Juno Award-winning Canadian Folk Trio, The Wailin’ Jennys, will perform at the Clark Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 8:00pm. The Jennys are young performers whose harmonies and songwriting have been called "spine-tingling," "angelic" and "breathtaking." Their stirring voices and richly emotional songs have wooed audiences around the world and earned them nominations for numerous prestigious awards. Their album, Firecrackers, spent over 30 weeks in the Top 5 on the Billboard Bluegrass chart and charted in the Top 20 on Billboard’s Top Independent Albums and Top Internet Albums. Firecracker also rose to #2 on the Amazon Top Sellers Chart. The Jennys regularly appear on Garrison Keillor’s popular National Public Radio show A Prairie Home Companion, sharing the stage with luminaries such as Bonnie Raitt and Meryl Streep.
