"The Very Worst Thing", the award-winning documentary film which revisits the 1958 Floyd County bus tragedy, will be screened in Paintsville at the historic Sipp Theatre on Friday, December 21st.

The film will feature several minutes of recently discovered home movies from 1958 showing the aftermath of the school bus tragedy, including never-before-seen color video footage of the school bus itself.

The screening begins at 7:30pm, and tickets can be purchased by calling the Paintsville City Hall at (606) 789-2600 or at the Sipp Theatre box office on the night of the show.

"The Very Worst Thing" is the documentary film which revisits the infamous 1958 Floyd County bus tragedy, which claimed 27 lives in eastern Kentucky on February 28, 1958. To this day, it remains the worst school bus accident in U.S. history.
