The Velvet Leo's are a superlative duo with many years of music experience spanning from the 60’s pop revolution to modern smooth jazz with R&B/blues/Hendrix/fusion/overtones. They've been performing for five years with a unique blend of eclectic styling that amaze audiences with deep emotion and extended creativity.

Guitarist Robb Lawrence grew up in San Diego performing popular 60’s music and during the 70’s into the 90’s experienced the NY and LA scenes working with Vicki Sue Robinson, The Babys, Mitch Mitchell (Jimi Hendrix) and J-Lo. Many memorable shows at Malibu’s Trancas club featured Robb’s eloquent and passionate guitar work. Lately he’s been promoting his popular Les Paul Legacy box set with Hal Leonard.
Randy Strom’s remarkable musicianship has graced many artists including Burton Cummings, The Platters and The 5th Dimension. His scoring has been heard on numerous TV shows like Dr. Quinn and Fantasy Island. His stint at the Baked Potato with Don Randi’s Quest was an ongoing for 16 years! Randy moved from guitar into another realm of tap-touch style guitar/bass playing with the exquisite Mark Warr 12 string instrument. Watching him play with such verve on this instrument is an experience to remember.
