Nehru Centre is organising Theatre Utsav, annual multilingual festival rolls around. This year, the festival is dedicated to the memory of Vijay Tendulkar who died on May 19. Presenting an English play titled The Vagina Monologues, directed by Mahabanoo Mody Kotwal, written by Eve Ensler and cast by Mahabanoo Mody Kotwal, Sonali Sachdev, Dolly Thakore, Avantika Akerkar & Jayati Bhatia. Eve ensler’s bie award winning play was written after Interviewing 200 women from all over the world, including Bosnia and Kosovo ..the play brings about an awareness of buse towards women and the message is clear….silence = death! No one , man or woman , will ever be the same again after viewing the vagina monologues.
