The University of Utah Tanner Dance Program's Children's Dance Theatre will present COMING HOME: CELEBRATING OUR ROOTS, STRENGTHENING OUR WINGS October 16, 2009

This dance performance commemorates the sixtieth anniversary of
the Children’s Dance Theatre and the seventy-second-year of the
Virginia Tanner Creative Dance Program, where we strive to create
worthwhile human beings – one dancer at a time. As the dances unfold, we witness the journey of a child growing up in the Tanner Program. We honor Virginia Tanner, a pioneer in children’s dance and art, with the beauty and exuberance of childhood and the discovery of the creative process.
