Well, Carrie is here to assist you with her song writing workshop. She will power up your song writing skills, taking you to the next level!
Shed Light Events introduces The ‘Unfinished Song’ writing workshop.

On June 20th Carrie will help you develop your melodies; lyrics and song form as well as make suggestions for chords to accompany your melody line. This interactive workshop is suitable for songwriters who have already got started in the process but need some inspiration, advice and guidance to get to the next level. You will work on your own material with Carrie and then watch and listen to her working with other members of the class.

Features of the workshop:
• Enhance your sense and knowledge of melody, lyrics and song form with Carrie’s help.
• Gain deeper understanding on structuring a song, blend rhythm and melody together in a way that works with the lyric’s meaning and rhyming pattern.
• Inspiration and guidance to songwriters wanting to reach the next level.
• This class is a limited size and can be followed up with 1-2-1 sessions with Carrie if required.

A regular on the London music scene, pianist/singer/songwriter, Carrie, is rapidly gaining industry attention. Gammy award winner Steve Orchard produced her recent EP “Taurus” and she has already had BBC airplay with her song “Dance Boy”. Back in her homeland, Malta, Carrie supported major acts such as Bob Geldof and The Feeling, and performed for Sting’s ‘after party’.
