ORCHID LOUNGE

Housed in the first floor of a historical Mid-Wilshire bank building, Orchid features a unique Korean Fusion menu served in an enchanting dining room which surrounds you with stainless steel water walls. Beautiful lighted towers dance in varying colors while you enjoy your dining experience. The lounge features a striking 12 foot central projector screen over the bar used for sporting events, movie screenings, and music videos with a 1000-watt concert quality speaker system. Multiple plasma screens fill in the rest of the dining room making sure that everyone has a front and center view.

Outfitted with state-of-the art video and sound equipment, the exquisitely furnished rooms can accommodate groups as large as 40 and features one of the most comprehensive Karaoke music library’s available anywhere (offering a choice of songs in English, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, and Indonesian). A “butler button?in each room assures the uninterrupted food, cocktail and music needs of every guest throughout the evening, and a choice of professional lighting completes the stage for a once-in-a-lifetime performance experience.

CUISINE

The kitchen features Korean Fusion representing Western and Pacific Rim dishes heavily influenced by Korean Spices, as well as a staple of Korean items not found in your stereotypical barbecue house. For an adrenaline rush, try our version of Beef Prosciotto, a wonderful mixture of Thinly sliced rare Ribeye, raw vegetables including Korean Gaenip, and our own Wasabi dipping sauce. For those that less adventurous, we do offer a conventional wood-grilled 12-ounce Ribeye steak that is sure to have even the most demanding of carnivores nodding in approval. We even have a version of the great Hawaiian staple Kalua Pork. For Korean Fare, we offer a selection from Contemporary Korean dishes from Sizzling Bibimbap (Korean Hotpot) to new Fusion dishes like Misoyaki Pork Ribs and Kalbi Steak.
