The Tufts Jazz Orchestra December 5, 2009

Praise God and Dance! – Sacred and secular dance inspired by African Diaspora traditions are the focus for this program led by conductor Joel LaRue Smith. The TJO mounts the stage performing Duke Ellington’s sacred dance pieces as well as secular dance music by North American and Latin American composers. This event is open to the Tufts Community and to the general public, is FREE, and no tickets or reservations are required.
