Oren Rudavsky’s fast-paced romantic drama The Treatment takes on the neurotics of New York’s Upper East Side with a fervor unseen since the best of Woody Allen. A breezy story that nonetheless packs a wallop, The Treatment mines territory of crazed shrinks, wounded lovers, and disenchanted socialites with alternately hilarious and profound results. Featuring memorable performances by Chris Eigeman, Famke Janssen, and Ian Helm, the film won the Best Narrative Feature award at the tribecca film festival.
