As the US continues its shift to a service based economy, the ripples are felt not only in the loss of factory jobs where workers are laid off in the hundreds, but among skilled blue collar craftsmen - painters, welders, woodworkers and more - who helped build the country that's now turning its back on them. Featuring Mike Rowe of Discovery Channel's Dirty Jobs with a legion of passionate, articulate "tradesmen" from in and around Baltimore, Richard Yeagley's film offers an unflinching look at the decline of the working middle class, and the changing face of today's labor force. A Q&A with the director and local woodworker Mark Supik follows.
