The "Three C's" at Caffee 5060 May 18, 2006

So what are the three C's? Simply, Coffee, Conversation and a Canadian Singer.

With Starbucks on every corner, it's wonderful to be able to throw support behind a new independent coffeehouse that isn't interested in just more of the same thing. The four owners of this great new place have wonderful plans for this new space. According to the website, Caffee 5060 is being touted as a place for "Great Coffee, Art, Poetry, and Music" and already it's up to a great start.

First, this coffeehouse is an art gallery and will feature the work of a different artist each month. Second, since the coffeehouse's opening in April, several musical acts have performed at Caffee 5060 and just recently, Open Mic nights started up in May.

There's still lots to come and hopefully, this coffee mixer at Caffee 5060 will be one of many in the upcoming year.

For this particular evening, we'll be meeting first for coffee and conversation at around 7:00 pm and because of Caffee 5060's generosity, you will get a 10% discount off all their food and beverage orders (if you mention MEETinLA). This will be a great low key way for us to get to know each other a bit.
