Honourable A. Anne McLellan, P.C., O.C., was Canada's Deputy Prime Minister from December 2003 - January 2006. She currently serves as Counsel at Bennett Jones LLP in Edmonton, Alberta. Through her government, corporate and social involvement, Ms. McLellan is well known for her experience in border and national security issues. She will talk about these issues in the context of the relationships among the United States, Canada and Mexico.
In addition to working within the Canadian government from 1993 to 2006, she serves on various corporate and non-profit boards including Nexen, an independent Canada-based global energy company, and Royal Alexandra Hospital Charitable Foundation.
