The Third Annual Fairfield County Green Faire November 17, 2010

Join us Wednesday, November 17th at the Third Annual Fairfield County Green Faire for a county-wide celebration of sustainability! See the many ways Fairfield County is becoming sustainable and the various technologies that our towns and cities are using and developing to create cleaner and healthier cities. The Faire opens at 11:00 with a special ribbon cutting ceremony, followed by the opening of The Town Green exhibit in the Pavilion. This exhibit is a collection of the very best green technologies that our Fairfield County towns and cities have in place. Each town will have an opportunity to share with the community, ways in which they are contributing to a healthier planet. From 11:30-5:00, green business and organization exhibits will be open in the ballroom to share sustainable information, green technology and eco-friendly products. At 5:00 p.m. the Fairfield County Green Coast Awards will be announced, at a winners reception, followed immediately by Stamford Green Drinks from 6:00-8:00.
