With the support of the Creative Capital Foundation, Rude Mechs will present a workshop production inviting audiences to witness and participate in the development of this brand new performance. "The Method Gun" explores the life and tragic death of Stella Burden - reclusive actress and architect of the eponymous acting exercise which eventually took her life. Using Rude Mechs' signature techniques for creating new work for the stage, the rich heritage of acting methodologies will be investigated that have been inherited from Stanislavski to Stella Adler. Actors will show you how they do what they do as they do what they do until one of them is done in by "The Method Gun."
