Celebrated chamber choir The Texas Voices continues its eighth season of public concerts with In Sweet Music: Shakespeare in Song on Saturday, March 26, 2011. The concert includes choral arrangements of William Shakespeare’s poetry, including It Was a Lordling’s Daughter by Paul Thompson, Orpheus with His Lute by Ralph Vaughan Williams, and Sigh No More, Ladies by George Shearing. The 24-member professional chorus, directed by Alan Dyer, will perform its third concert of the season at 6:30 p.m. at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 1919 Independence Parkway in Plano.
