The Temple Bar Celebrates Halloween October 29, 2010

This Friday and Saturday (October 29 & 30), visit the Temple Bar for a Halloween party to die for... Celebrate Halloween at the Temple Bar with spook-tacular specials! Enjoy $3 Coors Lite and Miller Lite 22oz stadium cups as well as $5 'you-call-it' bombs. The best costumes of the night will win a prize - no tricks, only treats! Chicago's hottest DJs will be providing the nights' tunes starting at 10 p.m.

Among the festivities, guests can also sit back, relax and enjoy a view from one of The Temple Bar's eight 42" plasma televisions where there's always sure to be a game. The inspiration behind this bar stems from an area rich with history in central Dublin known as Temple Bar, the lively nightlife quarters often referred to as "Dublin's cultural quarter". For centuries, patrons and tourists alike have graced the cobblestone streets and entered the doors of its landmark bright red bar - also named "The Temple Bar" after the area - in search of the perfect pint and retreat. Now, Chicagoans have been able to do the same in their own backyard - this time with a Halloween twist.
