Want to learn what the telcos are up to? Then you need to go back to school…to the Telecom Council’s Back to School Event at Foothill College, that is.
Sharpen your pencils for this ½ day seminar; we are going to hear from a number of globally significant telecom carriers, wireless and fixed, to learn what is on their radar, what partners may fit their future needs, and what challenges they have yet to solve. Say what you will about how difficult telcos can be for business development; we’re totally frank about it here at the Telecom Council. However, the fact remains that carriers are extremely important gatekeepers in the communication markets. Deals are difficult to strike, but once struck, the volumes can exceed your most optimistic business plan. That’s the kind of problem we all want.
You can expect each of our carrier speakers to address their hot topics, and for many these include:
• What they are looking for in Silicon Valley
• What kind of partnerships they seek
• Partnership process, methodology
• Developer or partner programs
• How the local office can streamline the process
• Their current roadmap
• Their innovation goals or programs
We will follow each carrier update with Q&A, include a panel discussion with wireless carriers, and cap things off with a reception to give our participants a chance to meet one-on-one.
Please note that we expect this event to have more demand than we can accommodate given the size of the auditorium at Foothill College. So, we encourage you to register early if you really want to attend. This event is free for Telecom Council members, and non-members may register for $200.
