Spend an hour and a half with The Taffetas and remember what Sunday night was like on your 12-inch black-and-white television set! It is 1950-something and Kaye, Peggy, Cheryl and Donna, four singing sisters from Muncie, Indiana, are making their national television singing debut. Spotlight on Music, a fictitious weekly television show on the real-life DuMont Television Network, sets the framework for an evening of some of the greatest hits of the 1950s. The Taffetas pays tribute to the sounds of the Maguire Sisters, The Fontaine Sisters and The Chordettes. With numbers like Where the Boys Are, Life Could Be a Dream, Little Darlin, as well as 40 other great songs of the 50s, you will find yourself dancing in the aisles.
