When someone we love dies, we are changed forever. Yet grief is a healing mechanism that can transform our lives in surprising and creative ways. Grief can focus our attention and inspire us to move beyond the present limits of our sight. We can adjust our senses to experience new ways of hearing, seeing and knowing what is real. We can learn that life and death, joy and sorrow, matter and spirit are inseparably intertwined. Grief can guide us into deeper orders of reality where we can live by the wisdom of our own experience rather than by our culture’s limited and outmoded definition of “reality.”
This seminar will focus on methods of working creatively with grief. Dr. Kovacs will also share some of her family’s precognitive dreams, visions, after-death communications and synchronistic events that surrounded the multiple deaths in her family. In addition, she will discuss new scientific insights on the survival of consciousness as well as cultural limitations that we must confront as we embark on our journey into deeper orders of reality. Q&A to follow the presentation.
